March 17, 2015 was Day 1 for me on my 21 day fix journey!  I am happy to report that after 6 months I am down 17.9 pounds and 29.25 inches!  I know that some of you reading this are thinking 17.9 pounds in 6 months isn’t that great!  Well, let me give you a little back ground…about 5 years ago I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and PCOS.  It seemed like no matter what I did, I just kept gaining weight and it wasn’t for lack of trying.  I was also recently diagnosed with Hashimotos Disease and Adrenal Fatigue.  If you suffer from either one, you know the struggle is real to just get up in the morning!  I am a stay-at-home Momma to 5 beautiful children ages 9, 9, 7, 2, and 9 months!  My husband is a firefighter so he is gone most of the week between his regular job and his second job.  I homeschool the older 3 kids too.  It is extremely hard for me, since most days I feel exhausted and trying to keep the house together while my husband is away working without the support of family or friends.  If you are blessed to have your husband home every night, or to have family to help support you, please do not take that for granted!

I will be honest with you that over the past 6 months I didn’t eat 100% on plan!  In June, we went on vacation and I struggled to get back on plan 100% until August.  When we started school again, I wanted to get back on track as well.  I was up at 6 every morning to get my workout and shower in before our school day started.  I am not a morning person and with the baby getting up to nurse 1-2 times at least during the night, it was extremely hard, but I did it!

I am extremely proud of myself and my results so far!  As I said before it has been a struggle to lose weight the last few years.  Plus having 2 babies only 14 months apart and being on bed rest with #5 wasn’t idea for my health either.  But I am happy to say that each day I am making an effort to live healthier not only for me, but for my husband and our 5 kids.  They are watching me.  They love to workout with me!  They even ask to share my Shakeology!  (I do let them on occasion.)

If you are struggling with your health or the progress or lack of, please contact me!  I am here to help you along the way.  I believe that this journey is hard enough that we don’t need to do it alone!  I loved the program and Shakeology so much that I became a Coach so that I could help motivate and encourage others.  If I can help change just 1 persons life, it is worth it!

Do not give up, even if you are having a much slower progress than those around you!  This isn’t a contest with others!  If you are making daily choices to improve your health, you are winning!  You can do this!  We can do this!
